It’s summer time and one of my favorite, refreshing, healthy, and tasty treats is the simple, Healthy Giraffe Banana Berries Smoothie. I’ve experimented with the quantities of each of the ingredients and have perfected the following recipe making, 2 – 16 oz drinks full of 37 grams of healthy carbohydrates and only 155 calories.
Don’t be fooled…healthy carbs fuel a healthy lifestyle. For this recipe, simply throw the ingredients in a high speed blender and blitz for 30 seconds or so and you are ready for enjoyment.
Ingredients:
- Bananas – 2
- Blueberries – 3/4 cup
- Strawberries – 8
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Ice – 1 cup
